Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi to Varanasi (Dep. New Delhi at 0600 hrs / Arr. Varanasi at 1400 hrs)

Arrive Varanasi and transfer to hotel / Evening visit to Ghat to see Ganga Aarti

Today, early in the morning, enjoy a Vande Bharat train journey to Varanasi, which will take 8 hours to reach Varanasi.

(Tea / snacks and meals are served on the train as per the fixed menu by Indian Railways). On arrival at Varanasi railway station, you will be met by our driver / representative and transferred to your hotel.

Varanasi, formerly known as Benares, is the most popular pilgrimage point for Hindus and one of the seven holiest cities. Considered the abode of Lord Shiva, it is believed to have the power of washing away all of one's sins.

Later, you will proceed to visit the ghats, crossing the local market (Note - You have to walk through the market for 500–800 meters and a few down steps to reach the ghats), and witness the evening Aarti on the Ganges, performed by a group of priests in the evening at the ghat. They perform "Agni Pooja" (Worship of Fire), wherein a dedication is made to Lord Shiva, River Ganga, Surya (Sun), Agni (Fire), and the whole universe.

In the afternoon, we will continue our sightseeing tour of Sarnath on the outskirts of town, where the Buddha preached his first sermon in the Deer Park. It contains the most impressive remains, as well as a modern temple.

There are also the remains of a monastery and the beautifully polished Lion Capital of Ashoka. Visit the Park and Museum. Sarnath was made a centre of Buddhist worship by Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BC. You will get a chance to visit the Main Shrine and Ashoka's Pillar. Day 3: Drive to Ayodhya (230 Kms / 4–5 hours)

Today morning after an early breakfast at the hotel, drive to Ayodhya, which will take 4 to 5 hours.

On arrival, check in at the hotel.

Ayodhya is one of the major holy cities of Hinduism. It has a central role in the ancient Indian epic, the Ramayana, whose protagonist Lord Rama is God incarnated on Earth as the prince of Ayodhya. The epic describes Lord Rama's 14 year exile, his victory over evil, and his grand return with his wife Sita to Ayodhya to become king. This return to Ayodhya is celebrated as Diwali, the leading festival of hundreds of millions of Hindus worldwide. Consequently, Lord Rama's reign over Ayodhya and its surroundings, called Ram Rajya, is the epitome of good governance and moral society in the Hindu tradition. Ayodhya has come to symbolise inner peace, joy, and spiritual upliftment.

We will visit Ram Janam Bhoomi, Nageshwarnath Temple, Dashrath Ji ka Mahal, Ramkot, and Kanak Bhawan by walking through narrow lanes with a local guide.

Overnight stay at the hotel in Ayodhya.

Day 4: Morning visit Ramgarhi / Later - Drive to Prayagraj (175 Kms / 3–4 hours)

Today morning after breakfast, we will visit Hanuman Garhi. Situated in the centre of the town, this temple is approachable by a flight of 76 steps. Legend has it that Hanuman lived here in a cave and guarded the Janambhoomi or Ramkot. The main temple contains the statue of Maa Anjani, with Bal Hanuman seated on her lap. The faithful believe that all their wishes are granted with a visit to this holy shrine.

Later, drive to Prayagraj, arrive and check in at the hotel. Prayagraj is the second oldest city of India, located in the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh and serves as its administrative headquarters. The ancient name of the city, Prayag (Sanskrit meaning "place of sacrifice"), is believed to be the spot where Brahma offered his first sacrifice after creating the world. It is one of the four sites of the mass Hindu pilgrimage Kumbh Mela, the others being Haridwar, Ujjain, and Nashik. It holds great importance in Hindu scriptures as it is situated at Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the holy rivers Ganges and Yamuna, and the ancient Saraswati.
